This was our first product. It was developed to remove hydrogen peroxide from the base of the hair follicle. Based on third party clinical research, it was demonstrated that excess hydrogen peroxide at the base of the hair follicle was responsible for greying via the process of lipid peroxidation and bleaching; it was hypothesized that the removal of H2O2 within a certain period - post greying - would result in greying reversal. Grey Defence was formulated to prove this proposition. This product has been caught up in controversy when the FTC sued us for making any statements with regard to what is does, or how it works without first conducting a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial, even though this is not the standard for dietary supplement in the USA. We were railroaded in pre-court hearings and loss via summary judgment - one of the greatest miscarriages of justice in our humble opinion.
- Use as a dietary supplement to help reduce oxidative stress and lipid peroxidation
